Lilla Kiss (Hungary), Circular Engineering
I chose circular engineering because of my passion to make the world more sustainable.

Lilla moved from Budapest to Maastricht to study Circular Engineering, "because of my passion to make the world more sustainable and my eagerness to learn about science and technology. I felt like I could combine these interests through Circular Engineering."

"I loved it from the start and felt confident that I had made the right decision for myself. The programme allows me to make time for fun things to do. I enjoy trying new cafés and restaurants with my friends, as well as going dancing or to a pub in the evening. I enjoy spending time in the city because it has such a cosy atmosphere." Lilla considers chemical engineering, chemistry, and biology lab skills to be the most interesting courses so far. "Contact with tutors and lecturers is quite informal. They all want to teach and educate us, and they do their best to help us when we struggle with the courses.
