Problem-Based Learning and engineering education: a perfect match

In 2021 we start with a new bachelor's programme at Maastricht University: Circular Engineering. The programme results in a perfect match between the Problem-Based Learning method and the problem solving mind-set of engineers. I look forward to introducing future engineers to chemical engineering in a circular and sustainable economy, using real life problems that I have encountered during my professional career and future challenges of the chemical industry to become sustainable.
