Your future

After three years at UCV and 180 ECTS, you will qualify for an international recognized Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. After graduating, you can continue a broad range of master’s programmes in the Netherlands or abroad. In addition, with the close links to businesses and a focus on applying knowledge you have gained at UCV, you will also be well prepared to start your professional career.

Master's programmes

Maastricht University's Campus Venlo currently offers two master's programmes that follow seamlessly from the bachelor's:

  • Health Food Innovation Management
  • Global Supply Chain Management and Change 

With your UCV diploma, you are eligible for many more master’s programmes in the Netherlands and beyond. During your studies, your academic advisor will help you select the right courses to prepare you for the master's programme of your choice.

Graduate programme possibilities 

Your self-designed curriculum determines which master’s programmes you qualify for,your academic advisor will help you create a curriculum that matches the admissions requirement for your desired master’s programme.

Career possibilities

UCV graduates have gone to wide variety of professional careers, in both the Netherlands and abroad, including:

  • Marketeer in the food industry at companies such as Nestlé or Tony's Chocolonely
  • Advisor at a 3D food printing company
  • Psychologist in a hospital
  • Smart food developer at TNO
  • Policymaker at the World Health Organisation
  • Entrepreneur with the Sustainable Food Fund
  • Legal food claims advisor for quality labels such as Eko, Bio and Demeter

UCV students will be in contact with professionals and entrepreneurs in the Venlo region. If you are interested in starting up your own company, our focus on teaching you how to innovate and turn knowledge into marketable ideas will help strengthen your sense of entrepreneurship.

Alumni association

As a graduate, you will remain a part of the UCV community by becoming a member of UCVici our alumni association. UCVici helps alumni to form lasting connections with fellow alumni and current students.
