“I think Venlo is a very cute small city. Although there are not many students living here yet, the atmosphere is very nice. Venlo is perfect for you if you are focused on your studies, enjoy spending time in nature, and do wholesome activities with your friends.

Luna chose University College Venlo because she has a strong desire and passion to study nutrition and health. She wants to focus on life sciences and psychology as well. “My first impression of UCV was that it is not like a standard university. The college is very small, meaning almost everyone knows each other, creating a community-like atmosphere.”

During her first year, Luna lived in one of the on-campus studios. Nowadays, she has moved to another apartment. “Living in Venlo, student life is not as busy as in other cities. Venlo offers some student parties and a student sports pass; however, a lot of the time, I just organise something with my close friends, such as going for a walk in Germany.”
