One of the exciting and educational benefits of being a student at FPN, is the option to take electives at an FPN partner university abroad during the 3rd year of the Bachelor in Psychology programme. For this purpose, the IRO has set up partnerships with more than 80 universities across the world. IRO is there to assist students in this process, so that you can enjoy your stay abroad to the fullest!
During the electives period in year 3, you also have the option to take part in the Research-Based Learning (MaRBLe) project abroad (12 ECTS), or a practical research internship abroad (6 ECTS).

FPN Master’s students have the option to do their mandatory research internship abroad. Students can arrange an internship themselves, with the assistance of the internship coordinator or through existing individual academic contacts abroad. More information: www.askpsy.nl/internship.
Students from the FPN Master's specializations WOP and HSP, have the opportunity to take part in a two-year Double Degree Master's programme in in Cognitive Sciences and Psychology in collaboration with Università degli studi di Milano (Milan, Italy). FPN Bachelor graduates have the opportunity to take part in a two-year Double Degree Master's programme in Work and Organizational Psychology in collaboration with Universidad de Sevilla (Seville, Spain). See: www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/double-degree-work-and-organisational-psychology-seville.

A stay abroad may involve additional costs. To (partly) cover these costs, the IRO offers the Erasmus+ scholarship option for students who wish to take electives abroad (Bachelor) or a Research internship abroad (Master’s) within Europe (Switzerland / U.K. excluded).
