Circular Engineering is rated as the best in its discipline
In the EW Best Studies 2022 ranking (formerly Elsevier), the Circular Engineering programme was awarded with a gold medal. Our students rated this programme with high satisfactory scores, making the programme score significantly better than other bachelor's programmes within the relevant discipline.
The EW Best Studies 2022 ranking is based on EW's own analysis of judgements from 286,000 students, taken from the National Student Enquete 2022.

UM is the 10th best Young University in the world
Maastricht University takes 10th place in the 2024 Times Higher Education (THE) 'Young Universities' ranking for best young universities in the world. UM scores impressively high on the diverse level of its student body and its international outlook.
In the 2021 QS 'Top 50 Under 50' (best universities in the world under 50 years old), UM rose from 23rd to 19th place.
