Mentor Programme
Full course description
The Mentor Programme in the second year continues to help you to become a successful student. In the first year, the focus was on how you study. In the second year, the focus rather is on what you (want to) study and how this relates to your individual plans and goals. Unlike in Year 1, there are no individual or group meetings scheduled in Year 2. The program is voluntary and no ECTS credits will be awarded. However, we deem it of utmost importance for you to sign up in order not to miss out on important events and activities that are organized throughout the year.
Course objectives
The course objective of the Mentor Program in Year 2 include:
1. Helping you become a successful student.
2. Assisting you in making key choices in your second and third year, considering what you want to achieve during and after your studies.
3. Preparing you for your future after the Bachelor’s program. Whether you will enroll in a master’s program or enter the job market, it is important to understand what you have learned and what you are good at; to be aware of the story you can tell about yourself and your studies.
Some of the activities for the Mentor Program in Year 2 include:
- Plenary sessions in the fifth semester on topics such as studying abroad, internships, and minors.
- The 5th Semester Market: Sharing experiences across student generations, with sessions on minor choices, studying abroad, and career opportunities.
