Orientation Course: Introduction to Computer Science and New Technologies

Full course description

This course aims to teach students basic skills of computer science in order to enable them to follow the ICT part of the master programme. Basic issues of software, hardware and algorithms will be covered, together with very basic practical coding skills in Python. The students will be familiarised with core programming principles and their potential uses in computer science environment.
