Many factors involved in human health problems, lie within our own scope of influence. The choices we make as individuals greatly influence our chances on developing diseased and disabilities. Unfortunately most people still make unhealthy choices on a daily basis. Health education and communication deals with effective communication strategies for health messages. You will learn how to develop an effective communication strategy, taking a large variety of factors like culture, socio-economics, social- and cognitive psychology and (modern) communication strategies into account.
